Biomedical Instrumentation & MOEMS

In this research track, we are focusing into developing a biomedical devices that can be used into diagnosis and treatment some of the current disease like cancer, tumors, parkinson and Alzheimer. Our research into this filed is under medical consortium supervision to ensure that our engineering solutions are fit with the medical criteria. 

The Mirco-Opto-Electro-Mechanical systems is one of the main research track that we are working on it in the ARAtronics Research Center. In this research track we are are developing a MEMS technology for medical and industrial applications similar to the lab-on-chip (LOC) and System-on-chip (SOC). To increase the sensitivity for these MEMS technology, the optical component should be integrated with it to develop a high accurate probes for example for measurements.
